Brand photographer, Santa Barbara

Pictures of your business as it really is, for your website, your socials and the press.

I'm Gabriel, a photographer based in Goleta. I started in photojournalism, so I look for the honest version: the owner at the counter, the team mid-task, the hands that make the thing. Nothing staged to look like stock.

Custom quotes · Team days welcome · Business-use license

Brand photography: starting at $400. Custom quotes.

  • Owner and team portraits at your workplace
  • Team headshot days
  • Your people at work, behind the scenes
  • Your space, details and product in use
  • Pop-ups and markets, restaurant or shop openings
  • Behind-the-scenes content days
  • Full-size edited files for your site, your socials and the press, in about two weeks (always within three)

Brand work is priced by the project: how many people, how many places, and where the photos will live. Tell me what you need them for and I'll reply within 24 hours, often much sooner, with a written quote. Inquire for a quote.

Need a website to go with them? I design and build a custom website, with a brand guide included, so your photos, your page and everything you print feel like one thing. See Web Design & Branding

Made where the work happens

I come to you: the shop floor, the kitchen, the nursery, the office. Daylight and window light wherever I can, and flash indoors or after dark when it's needed. No backdrop, and no stock-photo look.

Direction without stiffness

I give small, simple directions and leave room for the real thing. Most people relax within a few minutes, and the best frames are usually the ones in between.

For the web, for social, for publication

Think of the homepage image, the team photo on your About page, a month of posts, and the picture a reporter asks for. Tell me which of those you need, and I'll plan the shoot around them. How the license works is in the questions below.

How it works

Inquire. Tell me about your business, what the photos are for and when you'd like them. I reply within 24 hours, often much sooner.

Plan. We talk through the people, places and shots that matter, and where each picture will live, so I know what to look for.

Shoot. I arrive early, find the light, and keep out of your way while you work.

Delivery. In about two weeks (always within three), your edited photos arrive in an online gallery as full-size files, ready for your website, your posts and your press kit.

Questions

How much does brand photography cost?

Brand photography starts at $400, and each job gets its own written quote, because a solo owner portrait and a full team day are different jobs. Tell me about your business and where the photos will go, and I'll reply within 24 hours, often much sooner.

What is brand photography, exactly?

Pictures of your business as it really is: you and your team at work, your space, your product in real hands. They're made for your website, social media, press and publication, so they look like you and not like stock.

Can you photograph just me, or a small team?

Yes. A single owner portrait, a small team, or a full headshot day for a whole staff all work. Tell me who's in front of the camera and I'll suggest a plan that fits.

Where do we shoot?

At your workplace or wherever your business happens: the shop, the kitchen, the job site, the market stall. Travel within 25 miles of Goleta is included.

How can we use the photos?

Your photos are licensed for your own website, social media, print and press. Paid advertising, resale, or use by another company (a sponsor or a partner, say) is something we talk through in your quote.

Is this the same as a headshot session?

Not quite. A headshot session is a short, simple portrait of one person at a set per-person price. Brand photography covers your business: your people, your space and your work, quoted as a project.

Tell me about your business

Who you are, what you make or do, and where the photos will go. I'll reply personally, within 24 hours, often much sooner.
